2015-16 Meeting #20: 06/01/16

I can't believe we've reached the end of the school year!

We spent most of the meeting doing the Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower Challenge. It was a delight to see what each team could do with 20 pieces of spaghetti, 1 yard of masking tape, 1 yard of string and 1 large marshmallow! The goal was to build a free standing tower that could support a large marshmallow...in 18 minutes!

Only one team succeeded initially but after a second attempt we had more successes :)

We also made small thank you notes for the girls' bus drivers to go with a candy treat for them.

2015-16 Meeting #19: 05/18/16

Today the girls planned for and decorated for their End of Year Awards and Bridging Ceremony.

The 3rd grade Brownies worked with the Kindergarten Daisies on the Girl Scout Law song and the 2nd grade Brownies shared the Brownie Elf story with the 1st grade Daisies.

Girls walked across the bridge to become Daisies next year and there were girls who bridged to Brownies and others to Juniors.
