Today the girls voted on two important things. They decided who would be the lucky recipient of all of the boxes of cookies that have been donated during the booth sales. We have more than a dozen boxes they decided to give to our military troops! Excellent choice :)
The girls also voted where to have our end of year reward party. It was close but a gymnastics party won out. This will be a super-fun way to celebrate our cookie sale success.
Speaking of cookie sale success...Our troop had set a goal to sell on average 160 boxes/girl to earn a bonus t-shirt for each girl. This is 2880 boxes for the entire troop. With so many booth sales and girls setting and achieving personal sales goals of 400, 500 and even 700 boxes, our troop sold 4307 boxes...this is remarkable! I'm amazed by their effort along with all of the help from families...without you the girls couldn't have achieved their goals!
Brownies made thank you cards to give to all their Cookie sale helpers.
Beth took the Daisies to visually and textually explore the Daisy Flower Garden planted in the fall. They were in awe that it has returned and that the leaves of the bulbs were so soft.
The Med Express Teddy Bear Clinic came by to encourage girls to be brave about visiting the doctor to not only help us feel better but also for preventative care.

We were so happy to have wonderful weather at the end of the meeting so we enjoyed playing "The Needle's Eye", "Little Sally Walker" and "Duck Duck Goose."
