This meeting was non-stop excitement and our Daisies and Brownies accomplished SO much. They decorated a felt hand for our troop parade banner that we can use at Monday's Christmas parade.
The Brownies did a wonderful job making fruit smoothies in blenders and serving them to the troop. Way to go working on your Snack Badge!
All of the girls did good deeds for our animal friends...not only did they make a bird seed treat on pine cones and cardboard, they also braided T-shirt strips for dog toys. I think every girl had plans to give their dog toy to their own dog or a family member's dog.
We had enough material to make over a dozen additional chew toys that will be donated to the Mon. Co. Canine Center.
The girls have learned so much about animal care and caring for themselves. Here are some creative and informative Daisy pet care postcards and the Brownies did a great job on their pet badge homework! At the meeting they shared how they groomed and fed their pets and how they made a bed for them. Check out the pink bed fit for a princess Chihuahua. Great work, girls! Finally, a few minutes of Christmas caroling. What a fun meeting!
